Bonnie (Lewis) Davis

Bonnie Davis, age 79 of Jamestown, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Signature Health Care of Fentress Co.

On January 19, 1945, Bonnie was born to parents, Amy and Victor Lewis in Ohio. After growing up, Bonnie met the love of her life, Luther Davis. After they were married, they lived in Indiana until his retirement, then to the beautiful hills of Tennessee. 

Bonnie was very active in Round Mountain Baptist Church in Jamestown, where she was the pianist for many years. She retired from Save-A-Lot Food Store in 2008 with over 21 years of service. Bonnie was dependable, hard working, very friendly and well liked. After retirement, she was a dedicated volunteer at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center. She worked several shifts per week in the Admissions Lobby. She loved greeting and assisting patients and visitors. After her health failed, she went to Signature Health Care. She always said the staff was good to her and she was happy.

A host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Fentress Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.
