Emmaline Choate

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Emmaline Choate, Jamestown TN, 79 on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 3:59 pm. She fought a long battle with her lung issues and is now with her husband, Claude Choate Sr., daughter Antha Jo Carmack,  great-granddaughter, Elynnor Choate, all of her siblings, Edward Brewer, Paul Brewer, Mary Dial, Martha Murdock, Agnes Brewer Davis, Margie Napier and her parents, Nathaniel and Nova (Beaty) Brewer. 

 

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Claude (Pat) Choate Jr. and Nathaniel (Jennifer) Choate, her grandsons, Noah (Bobbie) Choate, Shawn Choate, Danny (Jessica) Carmack, Trent (Kari) Choate, Zachary (Amber) Choate, her great grandchildren, Sara Allen, Dawson Choate, Gracie Choate, Khloie Choate,  Audra Choate, Gideon Choate, Garrett Choate and Mabel Choate, special niece, Billie Brown and several other nieces and nephews and her special friends, Christyal Ooten and Kenneth Walker. 

 

Emmaline was known for saying things the way they were. You always knew where you stood and what she thought. She enjoyed gardening and was the family go to person. If anyone needed anything they came to her knowing she would help with whatever was needed. 

 

Her and Claude raised their family in Muncie IN where she had various jobs, including being a homemaker,  assuring that their family was taken care of. 

 

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. Burial will follow at the Fentress Memorial Gardens. 
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.

 

Our mom, grand-mommy, great grandma, aunt, sister, and friend will always be a huge part of our lives. We look forward to seeing her again one day. 

 

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jennings Funeral Home in Jamestown.
