Gertrude Elmore, age 81, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 in the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Elmore is survived by husband, Robert Elmore; brothers, Guy Choate and Glenn Choate; sisters, Betty Bowden, Windlean Wright, Sue Apple, and Ellaree Hyder; granddaughter, Becky McCausland; and great-granddaughter, Kaydi McCausland.
Mrs. Elmore was preceded in death by parents, Edison and Eva Malone Choate; daughter, Beverly Brown and husband Junior; brothers, Casher and Carson Choate; brothers-in-law, Hass Wright and Earl Hyder; and sister-in-law, Alberta Choate.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October, 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown with Bro. Tommy Duncan officiating. Burial followed in the Fentress Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers included Taylor Morris, Brad Wakefield, Tony Choate, Lonnie Cravens, Rick Rednour, and Bill Bowden.
Mundy Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.
