J.D. AKERS, age 80 of Jamestown, passed away on Wednesday, Feb 5, 2014 at SIGNATURE HEALTH CARE OF FENTRESS CO.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, Feb 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.   Burial will follow in the FENTRESS MEMORIAL GARDENS.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb 7, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.

He is survived by his:
Sister, VIRGINIA FAYE GARRETT and Husband HOWARD of Jamestown
Brother, FRANK AKERS and Wife GAYE of Indianapolis, IN

He is preceded in death by his:
Father-ROSCOE R. AKERS
Mother-BESSIE LOUISE (TAYES) AKERS
Brothers-MILFORD AKERS
                KYLE AKERS
Sisters-CHARLENE GARRETT
             ELENOR COOK
