J. L. "Red" Upchurch

J.L. "Red" Upchurch, age 91 of Jamestown, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Signature Health Care of Fentress Co.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Fentress Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.

Wife, Justine (Bertram) Upchurch
Daughter, Rhonda Upchurch
Sister, Faye Hill
Nieces, Tammy Culpepper
             Yvette Emerton
A host of other friends and relatives 

He is preceded in death by his:
Parents, Oakley and Eva (Smith) Upchurch
Step-son, Geoffrey Mace
Brother, Harold Gentry Upchurch 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to Jamestown First Baptist Church for Operation Christmas Child. Donations can be left at Jennings Funeral Homes.
