Jerry David Bowden

Jerry David Bowden, 85, husband of Jean Allred Bowden, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center Wilmore, Kentucky. Born February 24, 1936, he was the son of the late Fredrick “Fred” and Vonnie Beaty Bowden. Jerry was a graduate of Tennessee Tech, he retired from IBM as a computer programmer, and Woodford County School System as a bus driver, he was a faithful member of Versailles Baptist Church.

Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Jean Allred Bowden, Versailles, Kentucky, daughters, Ruth Bowden (Arlyn) Wilcox, Grundy Center, Iowa, Martha Bowden (Russ) Brown, Johnson City, Tennessee, son, David Bowden, Versailles, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Gloria Allred, Battle Creek Michigan, grandchildren, Hunter Bowden, and Alaina Brown.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, January 6,2022 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:00 pm on Friday, January 7,2022 at Memory Gardens, Jamestown, Tennessee.
