Passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020

Grave side service was held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 12 Noon at the Fentress Memorial Gardens. Military honors were provided by American Legion Post 137.

Mr. Hinds was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served for 20 years. He was a faithful Christian and servant to his beloved community. And, above all, he loved his family dearly.

He is survived by:

Son: Larry Hannah and wife Tammy

Daughter: Paula Whitehead and husband Wendell

Grandchildren: Tiffany Gross and husband Chris, Kristen Wunch and husband Justin, Josh Hannah, Brittney Stephens and husband John, & Lonnie Whitehead

Brother: Doug Hinds and wife Pat

Sisters: Lola Flowers, Vella Brown, Connie Cravens and husband Ronnie

He was preceded in death by:

Wife: Carolyn Hinds

Son: Philip Hinds

Brothers: Wayne Hinds, James Hinds, and Gene Hinds

Sisters: Edith Grewe and Phyllis McQueary
