Mary Jane (Crouch) Brooks

Mary Jane Brooks, age 95 of Allardt, TN passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Signature Healthcare of Fentress County.

Mrs. Brooks was a member of the Pleasant View Church of the Nazarene, the Democratic Party, the Jamestown Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Jamestown Garden Club.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by son, Steven Brooks and wife, Phyllis of Kingston, TN; daughter, Susie Bowden and husband, Sam of Allardt, TN; grandchildren, Tambra Bowden Sanders & husband, Clay, Chadd Bowden & wife, Teresa, Steven Brooks II & wife, Melissa and Tammy Crutchfield & husband, Danny; sisters-in-law, Maxine and Joyce Crouch; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by husband, Walbert Brooks; parents, Elmore and Abbie Wood Crouch; brothers, Sherril, Sheb, Willard, Dennis, Hoss, and Boyd Crouch; and sister, Edith Pile.

Funeral service was held Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown with Bro. Sam Wood officiating.  Pallbearers included Vic Wheaton, Carter Crutchfield, Ethan Blount, Danny Crouch, Ben Lamb, Nick Potter, Chandler Bowden and Glenn Wheaton.

Mundy Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of the services.
