Opal Irene (Brown) Kerney

Irene Kerney, age 91, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at Gallatin Health & Rehab in Gallatin, TN.

Mrs. Kerney is survived by son, Phillip Kerney and wife Linda; two daughters, Vena Willette and Sheila Kerney; two sisters, Jill Peterson and Nina Brown; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kerney was preceded in death by parents, Mack and Helen Moody Brown; husband, Sam Kerney; and daughter, Helen Kerney.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Mundy  Funeral Home with Bro. Chester Rhoad officiating.  Burial followed in the Fentress Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers included Truman Pullins, Troy Rains, Brian Rains, Chris Kerney, Mike Rains and Matt Kerney.

Mundy Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.
