Oscar Young

Oscar Young, age 70, of Jamestown passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 in the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Mr. Young is survived by wife, Susan (Smith) Young of Allardt; sons, Tim Young, and Josh Young and wife, Toni; daughters, Vickie Wright and husband, Mike; and Sue Boles;  grandchildren, Scott Wright and wife, Hannah, Kaela Ward and husband, Dustin, Nicole Cravens and husband, Dennis, Lauren Garrett and husband, Matt, Katie and Chloe, Jayden, Houston, Holden and Hallie; six great-grandchildren; brother, Odis Young and wife, Hazel; sister, Mary Pullins; mother-in-law, Sylvia Smith.

Mr. Young was preceded in death by parents, Ike and Ova (Hall) Young; son-in-law, William Boles; sister, Willene Cooper; brother, James Young; brother-in-law, Duck Pullins and father-in-law, Billy Smith.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown with Bro. Daryl Rains and Bro. Oney Wright officiating. Burial followed in the Fentress Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers included Darrell Evans, Ray Lewis, Truman Pullins, Micheal Reagan, Jimmy Richards, Wayne Rogers, Johnny Young and William Young.

Mundy Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.
