Virginia Ann Norman, age 79, passed away June 3, 2015 at the family home in Jamestown.
Ann grew up in Jamestown and was a graduate of York Agricultural Institute and the University of Tennessee. She worked many years in the field of marketing. She worked for the National Livestock and Meat Board in Chicago, the Eckrich Corporation in Defiance, Ohio and other companies promoting agriculture. Then she moved back to Tennessee and worked for Tennessee Pork Producers Association.
She was an active member of the Andrew Price Memorial United Methodist Church in Donaldson, TN where she has lived for many years.
Ann is survived by brother, George Norman and wife, Linda of Allardt; two sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Norman and Irene Norman. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, A.B. Norman; mother, Imogene Norman; brothers, Dr. Gene Norman, Dr. John Norman, and Butch Norman.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at11:00 a.m. at Mundy Funeral Home with Bro David Acres officiating. Burial followed in the Fentress Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers included Mark Norman, Chris Norman, Sam Norman, Chandler Norman, Robert Bohrer and Dustin Lane.
The Mundy Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.
